Updates

I find myself going longer and longer without posting on my blog, wonder why that is? Sometimes I feel like I just have nothing interesting or "new" to talk about, so I don't bother at all. I'm starting to feel like I'm in a rut though, what with my not having gone anywhere for the past 4-6 weeks. Yep, I've been home for about 5 weekends in a row, and I don't know how to act anymore! It's time to go somewhere, so enter April 6th.

Yep, next Thursday, 4/6, is my birthday and so I'm going on a 3 day cruise with my mother. We're going to fly from Vegas to LA and then hop on a quick cruise for the weekend. Looking forward to it!

Last night I held another MissT74 WSOP Qualifier, and again, I ended up in 2nd. This time against Fellknight, which was kind of ironic due to the fact that he was the one who taught me the game we were playing, 7 Card Stud H/L, at last year's WSOP. We started HU action with me 2:1 in chips, but that game can be frustrating and the cards fickle. However, congratulations to Fellknight for winning the latest MissT74 WSOP Seat, and there WILL be a rematch set for St. Maarten's at the World Poker Showdown.

Speaking of which, yep, it's been confirmed, I am officially going to the WPS held in St. Maarten's from 4/28-5/10. Fellknight is also going and I've been trying to get some other RGP'rs to go as well. Some have expressed interest, but still waiting to hear on their official "booking" as of right now. All information can be found at www.WorldPokerShowdown.com and if you have any questions about it, ask away. I will be there representing WPS and helping out with tournament registration again, and also playing as many events as my bankroll allows. I better start winning a few MTT SNG's on PS to have a nice chunk to take with me!!!

The next MissT74 WSOP qualifier is set for this Sunday, it will be for a $2,000 WSOP seat and the cost is $100. 10 players minimum for a $1,000 WSOP seat, 15 players for a $1,500 WSOP seat, and then if it sells out at 20 players, the winner will get a $2,000 WSOP seat. Anything in between will just be extra cash for the winner, or the winner can add funds to the prize pool in order to move up one level of WSOP seat. (Hope that makes sense.)

I would also like to help spread the word in regards to the WPBT WSOP #2 satellite. It will be held on PokerStars on Monday, April 3rd, and the cost is $30/$3. They need 50 entrants in order to give the winner a $1,500 WSOP seat. All information can be found at Pauly's blog www.taopoker.blogspot.com and elsewhere too, I'm sure, but that's where I found it and I am already registered! Good luck fellow bloggers!!!

This weekend I will be heading to Flagstaff on Saturday for a last minute pageant for my daughter, Cherissa. The director emailed me on Monday and apparantly they are a little short of girls in the Teen division, so since Cherissa already has her talent (singing) and formal gown, we will head out there for the day to see what glorious prizes she can win. ; )

I just read over my last posts and need to let you know what happened with that Sunday $1000/$50 tourney. I ducked out and took the T$, then wasted it ALL trying to win another damn $1000/$50 satellite. How stupid is that? The only thing I can say that it did for me was allow me to play poker all last week, as I had no funds on PS and didn't want to deposit anymore. Sigh. I did bubble once, getting 7th place, when only 6 seats were being awarded. This was AFTER I had folded A,A preflop due to 2 other players being shorter in chips then I, and I was going to FOLD my way to a winner! Too bad it didn't work out the way I planned. However, I can now say that I have folded Aces preflop. That comment will go right along with my being able to say that I've folded K,K preflop once too. Whoopee.

That's pretty much it for now, I will try to update the blog more frequently, I swear!!!

I'll be missing the WPS by a few days. My cruise ship lands at St. Maarten on wed I think. Oh well, would have been fun to watch.

LOL, yeah, I'm sorry Mom, but I haven't won those tournaments lately to be able to take you on my own.

But um, yeah, sure. If you can get one of my readers to fork over 2K for you to go with me, I'll take you. (LMFAO)
